Deciding what you’ll do when you leave school is a big decision, but not one you have to make on your own.
Your teachers, school career counsellors or guidance officers, and parents/carers can help you think about your future, and explore your further education and training and career options with you.
In year 10, your school will work with you to develop a Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan that will help clarify your learning goals for Years 11 and 12 and your post-school pathways.
Once you finish school, you should consider building on your SET Plan to create a career plan that will help you achieve your career goals.
