Deadly pathways

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander pathways run across Australia and were once the main form of travel and exchange. Pathways are not only areas of physical movement, but also places where knowledge and meaning flow.

The Deadly pathways section on Student Connect contains potential career and training options, as well as links to Indigenous support networks.

This information will help young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, in consultation with their families and communities, consider a range of options for making deadly pathways after school.

If you have an initiative, such as an educational or career pathway or support service that you would like considered for inclusion on this website, please email
